Some people worry extensively about what gear they have, is it the newest and the greatest. Is it 4 oz lighter than last years model? Does it have an eternal dampening system with GFI Technology? Though I am all about finding the best products I can afford to carry while I am in the field, I also realize that the best products might not be the latest and greatest. I shoot a 2 year old bow, my shotgun is 50 years old, I keep a flint stick and a few matches with me, no lighters. I also live my a very important rule, if I can make it myself I will, hense all my camera mounts are home made, balaclavas are sown my me, and even straps for my ranger finder I fabricated. But here is the rundown of what I have in the field at any given time.
